The more on you are, the more you can benefit from some off-time

I find that the more our modus operandi pushes us into one extreme, the more transformative it is to create pockets of time for stepping into the opposite extreme. The way I’ve been exploring this recently is by making time for standing still.  

I’m very action-driven by disposition, so I challenged myself to make more time for reflection, contemplation and just being. Doing so has been fairly uncomfortable, but the insights I’ve had through it have been very impactful and profound. The more uncomfortable something is, the more we stand to gain by diving into it.
