People think that confidence is the lack of insecurity. It isn’t.
Confidence is being able to be with insecurity. Confidence doesn’t mean being perfect, it means being okay with imperfection.
It means trusting yourself and your judgement in the face of doubt. Having the courage to be disliked. Having the courage to go against the grain, stand your ground and challenge the norm.
Not from a place of arrogance, ignorance or foolishness but from a place of having found trust in your truth on the back of careful and rigorous examination of yourself and your thoughts.
