Fragility: allowing things to be, as they are

Acceptance is not about making something acceptable to accept. Acceptance is accepting what is, as it is, now. This takes great courage. Stepping out of self/life-censorship and resistance and allowing yourself and life, non-judgementally, requires a lot of vulnerability.

It’s our dualistic, black-and-white thinking that creates resistance. We see thinks as good or bad. Worthy or worthless. Meaningful or meaningless. Helpful or unhelpful.

In reality things aren’t good or bad but good and bad. Not successful or unsuccessful but successful and unsuccessful. Not right or wrong, but right and wrong.

Every strength conceals a weakness, and every weakness has a strength. They are two polar manifestations of the same strength/weakness phenomenon.

Life is non-dual. It isn’t this or that. It just is.

And so are we. Broken/whole. Fragile/anti-fragile. Separate/connected.

We feel a deep sense of honour for life, a humbling gratitude to be a part of the wonder of creation when we lean into and experience this non-dual open-mindedness and open-heartedness.
