What you do, of course, matters and it matters greatly. But why you do it and how you do it matter more. The why defines the how which defines the what.
Your why and how are shaped by subconscious narratives that dictate the way you view and relate to yourself, life and others. This, in turn, forms your what—your actions.
The how is your energy, your vibrational frequency, disposition, qualities you bring to anything you do. The why is what creates them.
Your why and how are in charge of your life, whether you’re aware of them or not. To make sure you’ve got the reins, a) be clear on what your why, how and what are, and b) most importantly, find out the subconscious narrative that drives your why.
There are two factors that shape why and how we do things: insecurity or confidence. Insecurity comes from a place of absence and avoidance. Confidence, from presence and attraction.
For most people, insecurity, absence and avoidance are the fundamental drivers of their why. This is the reason you hit glass ceilings, as it is the reason you’re always getting there but never arriving.
Whether it’s more happiness, money, love, fulfilment or freedom that you want to attain, if your why is the product of insecurity, you’ll continue to be getting there. The ultimate reason for this is because when you’re saying that there’s something you fundamentally are not—not enough, not lovable, not worthy. But who you really are is limitless. And when you think of yourself in ways that deny this—that deny your true nature and limitlessness—you suffer because you’re trying to fit yourself into a container that can’t fit you. When you wear shoes that are too small for you, you hurt. And when you’re a limitless being forcing itself to live in limitation, you suffer.
You identify with the limitless being that you are, when you dig into the subconscious recesses of your mind and unravel your limiting narratives. This is what shatters the glass ceilings–the emergence of the real you.
